Program Description
In 2022, a Pretrial Supervision Workgroup, chaired by Judge Nancy Buytendorp, developed a pretrial supervision program to address one of the gaps identified through the Sequential Intercept Mapping Process. On January 1, 2023, a new pretrial supervision program was launched in Winona County, whereby the Department of Corrections will provide supervision for Minnesota residents charged with DWIs or domestic assault crimes prior to sentencing.
